Here we will give you an introduction on our new e-learning tool, that has been developed as part of the SEA-EU initiative at Kiel University.
The digiTeachKit consists of small learning bites with which interested people can easily and quickly acquire new digital knowledge. The learning contents are curated learning resources, such as Open Educational Resources (OER). These consist of different media such as videos, podcasts or articles.
Topics are for example: How do I create a good online lecture? How do I design an explanatory film? What do I need for a good podcast? What does "Blended Learning" actually mean? The digiTeachKit provides answers to all these questions.

For the concept, the compilation of the content, the quality control and the implementation, the SEA-EU team worked together with the Programme Manager Qualification in the Higher Education Forum Digitisation of the Stifterverband, Lavinia Ionica, with the media educator and expert for OER and digital media, Kristin Narr, as well as the design office TAU.

Lecturers and other interested parties have various options for finding individually suitable teaching content. In addition to a general search function, the so-called learning pathways can be used. These are structured according to different levels - Beginners, Advanced and Expert - as well as specific topics such as "Teaching Interactively". In addition, there are indications for the time needed for a learning module. Those who want to can save their individual learning status and have a certificate created to document their learning activities.

The digiTeachKit is designed as a learning object and can be expanded by the users. The more people add new content, the larger the offer becomes.
